The Deputy Foreign Minister of Iran, Mohammad Javad Zarif, and his Romanian counterpart, Lazar Comanescu, signed two documents regarding their cooperation in Bucharest. The agreements are about bilateral political consulting and the possibility of abolishing the visa restrictions for Iranian diplomats traveling to Romania.
Zarif is visiting the Romanian capital as part of his East Europe tour. The further destinations are Slovakia and the Czech Republic. The Iranian statesman is accompanied by a delegation of Iranian economy representatives from the areas of energy, transport, mining, car parts, pharmaceutics and agricultural machines.
